Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary confrontation, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
